Jazz in an Art Environment
The interest in jazz in an art environment seems to be gratifyingly large in Gothenburg. On Friday evening, the well-known jazz curator Bengt Hammarén arrived, along with Bernt Rosengren, Bertil Lövgren in Lugges Jazzens band in Josquin (from Strängnäs), and the Gothenburger Gilbert Hjemström, who played with the modern Stockholm ensemble.
The art gallery was quite well-filled, and even though the acoustic conditions were miserable, it turned into a fine jazz evening with at times wild and joyful jazz music. …| …
