For the Humanities Association's anniversary journal, editor Jan Åman conducted an interview with Sivert Lindblom. The campus architecture reflects its time. The buildings have been shaped by internal needs and the architects' solutions to the requirements in the specifications. The area itself surrounding the scattered buildings has been less considered and developed based on a unifying aesthetic. The area has not had a "city plan" or an overall vision, as the needs for educational buildings and faculties have changed and increased over the years. In the interview, Sivert Lindblom describes the ideas behind the connections between the buildings and the embellishment of the walkways. From the entrance area – the University's subway station – and out towards the field leading to the university buildings, an aesthetic and visually marked line of twisted brick towers and sculptures with mythological elements from antiquity runs.
