Ingela Lind, art critic at Dagens Nyheter, reviews the exhibition "WATERCOLOURS – and more" at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm, October–November 2012.

A hundred watercolours along seventy linear metres of wall — Sivert Lindblom's presentation at the Academy is one of the more impressive exhibitions in Stockholm this autumn. Not because there is any drama in the hanging, but because the consistency and depth of the work permits a contemplation that has no parallel.

The watercolours from 1975–2012 are all variations on the same theme: the axonometric projection of architectural forms, executed without preliminary drawing or preparation. Lindblom is now 81, and these works show an artist still in full creative activity.
