There is a mystery in Lindblom's sculptures that resists explanation. They are familiar and alien at the same time — profiles, faces, bodies, but transformed into something that is not mere representation but a structural analysis of the human.

Larsson points to Lindblom's ability to work with the archetypal without falling into the decorative — the sculptures carry something essential without being allegorical.
