Exhibition at Malmö Konsthall: the group exhibition "Metapolis", 1986. Metápolis was a large sculpture exhibition that was shown at Malmö Konsthall between August 30 and October 12, 1986. The exhibition functioned as a collective sculpture installation and an urban design where several artists participated.
About the exhibition's concept: A city created in the form of a sculpture with the theme of the city as betrayal and promise, form and utopia. Purpose: Not a city to live in, but a city to think with – a speculative topography of contemporary dreams, memories, and contradictions. Participating artists: Dick Bengtsson, Lars Englund, Eberhard Höll, Lars Kleen, Sivert Lindblom, Joakim Pirinen, and Christer Strömholm.
