Casting in Thailand for Haga Norra pedestrian bridge
Components for the artistic embellishment of the entrance towards Ulriksdal Palace Park.
"Several of Sivert's later artworks and larger design commissions were cast in Thailand within the framework of an established production collaboration with Skånska Konstgjuteriet. The choice of production location cannot solely be explained by economic considerations, but was primarily motivated by the possibility of achieving a high degree of accuracy and technical precision in the execution.
Skånska Konstgjuteriet was responsible for the production, while Ulf Ferrius served as the responsible site manager in Thailand and coordinated the practical work of the casting. The collaboration enabled close control of the production and ensured that the artistic intentions and technical requirements could be realized in the final execution.
The castings were carried out by Bangkok Studio Program Ltd. 6 Moo 9, Ban Dong Hua Khod, Ban Phra, Mueang Prachinburi District, Prachinburi in eastern Thailand ... the word "Ban" means village or home in Thai."
