"Here and Now" was an important art exhibition shown at Gävle Museum between September 3 and 24, 1967, and produced in collaboration with Moderna Museet. The exhibition was titled "En ny konstVERKlighet" (a wordplay meaning 'A New Art-REALITY'). The artwork that overlaps reality in its expression. The question of where the artwork itself, as a concept, ends and where it begins became a central theme of the exhibition. Artwork as reality! The art trend of the 60s involved a search for a new depicted and stripped-down realism! Pop Art! The gallery presented contemporary new and provocative art, with several works also acquired for the museum's collections, such as Erik Dietman's object "Spoerris frukost" from 1965. For the exhibition, Sivert presented his profile in turned pear wood in a number of different versions with the title "Sinnebild". / JÖ
