NUNSKU organized the exhibition 'Images du Nord – Art Suédois' at Musée Dynamique in Dakar, Senegal. It featured 125 works by 23 artists, organized by C. O. Hultén and Birgitta Stenberg-Hultén. K. G. P. Hultén (Moderna Museet) wrote the foreword about cultural exchange between Sweden and Senegal.
Images du Nord – Art Suédois was a touring exhibition featuring 23 Swedish artists, shown at Musée Dynamique in Dakar, Senegal in 1973. The exhibition was organized by the Committee for Exhibitions of Contemporary Swedish Art Abroad (NUNSKU) in collaboration with Institut Suédois.
The Swedish artists who participated in the exhibition, in addition to Sivert Lindblom, were: Walter Bengtsson, Ola Billgren, Bengt Böckman, Agneta Flock, Roj Friberg, Eric Grate, Ulf Gripenholm, Helena Hernmarck, Vide Jansson, C. Göran Karlsson, Olle Kåks, Lage Lindell, Berto Marklund, Endre Nemes, Gerhard Nordström, Eric H. Olsson, Karl-Axel Pehrson, Sheila Snickars, Max Walter Svanberg, P.G. Thelander, and John Wipp.
The exhibition's Swedish commissioners were the artist C.O. Hultén and Birgitta Stenberg-Hultén. Pontus Hultén, then director of Moderna Museet, represented the Swedish side in the preamble to the catalogue.
