The Double Urns in Baronen Quarter
For the Baronen Quarter, Sivert created the sculpture "Dubbelurnorna" (The Double Urns), popularly known as Vindfånget, due to its placement in the shopping center's entrance hall. The work consists of two urn shapes that appear to be placed within each other – one as if it had grown out of the other. The double form gives the classic urn an offset and more sculptural character.
The urns are made of cast iron and cast at Månsarps gjuteri under the direction of Johan Åkesson.
It is uncertain today whether the Dubbelurnorna still remain in their original place in the entrance hall or if the work has been moved to another part of the mall. The placement, however, is an important part of the work's original context, where the double urn form met the visitor already at the entrance and functioned as a sculptural marker for the transition between outside and inside."
