On the Riksbank's roof, there is an accordion-like architectural structure that creates a large, greenhouse-like room for various activities. (Not open to the public)
The room is primarily intended to provide the bank's staff with recreational opportunities after working hours.
It features both a sauna and a pool, as well as areas that can be adapted for both badminton and other forms of exercise.
The room can be quickly reconfigured and can then also serve for other, more or less informal staff events, such as parties or group yoga.
Some of the spaces in the room are suitable for smaller gatherings and conversations.
The design of the recreation department at Sveriges Riksbank was created in collaboration with Ulrik Samuelson and Olle Nyman.
