The archive, which preserves collaborations with Sivert, contains, in addition to drawings, sketches, and models from architect Peter Celsing's production, also significant artworks by Sivert that Peter had acquired from him. The Celsing Foundation founded 1985.
The archive was founded to preserve the material from architect Peter Celsing's many architectural commissions. It contains drawings, sketches, and models, as well as hundreds of architectural details from Peter Celsing's extensive production. This also includes a great deal of information about Sivert's extensive and long-standing collaboration (1957–1974) with Peter.
The Celsing Foundation was founded in 1985 to support research and education in Swedish architecture and fine art. The archive is accessible to students, researchers, and the public by arrangement with curator Johan Örn.
In 1985, Birgitta, Maria, and Johan Celsing established the Celsing Foundation, which aims to support research and education in Swedish architecture and the visual arts through scholarships and grants.
The Celsing Foundation's Mediterranean Scholarship is awarded annually by the Peter and Birgitta Celsing Foundation and amounts to SEK 50,000. It is intended for young architects and artists who wish to undertake an educational journey in the Mediterranean region. The foundation is administered, among others, by the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm (KKH), where application details are sometimes collected and published.
