On either side of the entrance staircase to Konstakademien at Fredsgatan 12 in Stockholm, Sivert has crowned the staircase with sculpted and cast light holders. The starting point was a "cut-open and built-upon" sphere, whose void was to be filled with an "inner light".
Sivert has also designed the mounts for the flagpoles, which are integrated into the powerful stone blocks at the entrance.
The Royal Academy of Fine Arts, commonly called Konstakademien, was founded on May 10, 1735, and has operated under its current name since 1810. Sivert was elected as a member of the academy in 1974, as a representative for the artists.
